Gaul

Head of Gaul, probably found in Arsinoë/ Krokodilopolis, nowadays known as Kom Faris in the Fayum (Egypt), is one of the most impressive pieces of Alexandrian Art from the 2th Century before Christ.

The stiff hair, washed in limewater, and the moustache are characteristic features of a distinguished Gaul.
